Back Up Your Computers, People!
Well, during the fairly routine computer process of removing spyware last week, all of my pictures, videos, documents, and music were inadvertently lost. I haven't backed things up for several months. We had lots of help trying to recover it all from our hard drive, but ultimately I got a fraction of the pictures and nothing else. The reason this is so painful still is because I had all of the pictures and videos of Joey's birth and first few months on there, which means they are now lost. Forever. I try to be positive and remember that I have the videos I posted here, and I have about 40 pictures that I sent to my mom, and Matt found two videos of Joey immediately after his birth which were miraculously still on the videocamera. But seriously, it could have been prevented. So that is why I say: back up your computers!

Going Back to Work
Well, I'm in the process of trying to find babysitters for Joey when I go back to work on November 3rd. I've got three days out of five covered. At the same time, Matt and I are trying to do some house-hunting, which is a full-time job on its own. I feel pretty frazzled a lot of the time, like there are always a million things to do. On a positive note, Joey is growing like a fat-and-happy weed. He's about two feet tall and 12 pounds. He's beginning to roll from tummy to back (mostly because he hates being on his tummy), he's being a little less stingey (stingy?) with his smiles, he laughs in his sleep, he's going to love roller coasters, and occasionally he'll pop up an eyebrow at me so I know he's mine. (Melissa says you know he's mine because he's always scowling.) He's the sweetest baby I've ever known, although I might be just a teensy bit biased. :)
